- A familiarity with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Security Guidance for Critical Areas of Focus in Cloud Computing and the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) Cloud Computing Risk Assessment, which are the two main sources of the CCSK exam.
- A willingness to learn and apply the cloud security principles and recommendations from the CSA and ENISA documents.
